Although given his first camera at the age of six it wasn't until the last year at university, while completing his studies in art history, that Oskar found his way to fashion photography. The years before he had turned his lens towards snowboarding and rock concerts but to just document what was happening infront of the camera couldn't hold his interest for long. 'A great mix that suits me well' - he says about fashion photography, meaning that it allows (a various amount of) artistic expression within a commercial frame.
After becoming an bachelor graduate within the field of Art & Visual Communication he first started working as a full time retoucher and later assisted some of Swedens best fashion- and still life photographers for a couple of years.
During the same time Oskar continued working with his own expression through different projects and collaborations. Today he's inspired by music, art and 20th century fashion photos and the result is often images that portray a world of tranquil sensuality.
After 27 years in Sweden Oskar is currently dividing his time between Europe and New York.
