German born photographer Ralf Pülmanns became interested in photography while still at highschool, being fascinated by the technical side of still images, he decided to take an apprenticeship in photography after finishing his degree.
In 1999 he moved to London after assisting various photographers in germany to start up his own career. Very soon cosmetic clients like boots and magazines like harpers & queen and the sunday times style collaborated with him. In 2005 ralf moved his base to Paris.
His imagery is best described as a perfect execution of a classic yet modern visual, playing with light and giving it?s subject a glamourous and sensual touch.
Among others his editorial work can be seen in ELLE magazines, TUSH and Sunday Telegraph UK. Advertising clients include such prestigious companies as Swarovski, Montblanc, Cartier and Salvatore Ferragamo perfume.
Ralf works in Paris as well as on location in Europe and overseas.
