Being a self-taught artist, I learned my craft by observation, then collecting information from library books. Then I experimented and practiced and practiced. Over time, my style evolved – I am a tight, linear painter but with an impressionist twist.
My favorite things are nature with an emphasis on peaceful sanctuaries. I draw energy from the outdoors, especially flowers and fragrances.
I was born in Wyoming in the late 1940’s and the outside nourished me. I thrive in solitude I must always be doing or experimenting or creating. I love to multitask -whether drawing, painting, and working with clay or creating jewelry.
I have a strong need to see something lovely that I created. This is what gives me valuable. Yet, I know my true value is from God and not what I do.
