　　One of my friends had recommended the book Gone with the Wind almost two years’ ago, but my reading plan was just put off, for the book is really too thick and I even no courage to start. However, this semester I made my mind to read and I found myself was totally lost in the absorbing plots and the attractive characters the author portrayed. I was impressed by the war, the love and the hero Scarlett O’Hara, who would also be a charming and successful woman in today’s modern society, I think.

　　Scarlett is a dark-haired, green-eyed Georgia belle who struggles through the hardship of the Civil War and Reconstruction. She exhibits more of her father’s hard-headedness than her mother’s refined southern manners. Determination defines Scarlett and drives her to achieve everything she desires by any means necessary.

　　1. pursuing her love bravely

　　Scarlett aims to win Ashley Wilkes, and her failure to do so guides the plot of the novel. Ashley’s marriage to Melanie and rejection of Scarlett drive nearly all of Scarlett’s important subsequence decisions. Scarlett marries Charles Hamilton to hurt Ashley, stays by Melanie’s side through the war because she promise Ashley she will, and loses her true love, Rhett butler, because of her persistent desire to win Ashley. Without hesitation for pursuing her love, she is a little blind to love. However, her courage is inspiring. After all, love always makes people lose sense.

　　On the night the Yankees capture Atlanta and set it afire, Scarlett drives the cart all night and day through a dangerous forest full of deserters and soldiers, at last reaching Tara. She arrives to find that her mother, Ellen, is dead; her father, Gerald, has lost his mind; and the Yankee army has looted the plantation, leaving no food or cotton. Scavenging for subsistence desperately, Scarlett vows never to go hungry again. Scarlett takes charge of rebuilding Tara. She murders a Yankee thief and puts out a fire set by a spiteful Yankee soldier. What a great girl she is! Instead of feeling afraid and waiting for others to help her, she bears the burden of rebuilding the Tara by herself. I admire her so much; for I have the same belief---- heaven helps those who help themselves!

　　When Scarlett takes advantage of Frank’s immobility, going to the store to see the account books, she quickly realizes that frank runs the business badly—his friends owe him vast sums of money that he is too embarrassed to collect. Scarlett thinks she could do a much better job in strictly male world of business and begins to think of acquiring a sawmill. Devoting all her time to the mill and turning a sizeable profit by any means necessary, she becomes the only successful businesswoman in Atlanta. In that age, it is really a big challenge for women and she has the confidence and courage to challenge it.

　　Scarlett’s development precisely mirrors the development of the American’s south. She changes from spoiled teenage to hard-working widow to wealthy opportunist, reflecting the south’s change from leisure society to besieged nation to compromised survivor. As selfish she is, her bravery and strong mind towards love and war really impress me a lot. When there is barrier, even disasters come, we can feel depressed or afraid, but never give up.

　　It is really a wonderful novel which worth being chewed!

　　I felt that I was dee* fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

　　I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and heaved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.

　　It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.

　　Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

　　“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.

　　“But Scarlett, did it ever occur to you that even the most deathless love could wear out? Mine wore out, against Ashley Wilkes and your insane obstinacy that makes you hold on like a bulldog to anything you think about.”

　　“Scarlett, I was never one to patient pick up broken fragment glue them together and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken——and I’d rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.” Said Rett Butler, a man who love Scalett as much as a man can love a woman. Loving her for years before he finally got her, he loved her crazily but did not let her know it for fear of being hurt. But at last he still could not escape from hurts. “My dear, I don’t give a *.” Look, he did not care about it at all. He was a man who disguised himself so much.

　　“I mustn’t bawl; I mustn’t beg. I mustn’t do anything risk his contempt. He must respect me even——even if he doesn’t love me.”

　　“I’ll think of it all tomorrow, at Tara. I can stand it then. Tomorrow, I’ll think some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day.”

　　Said Scalett O’hara, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever seen. She was hard and greedy and unscrupulous, a brave, frightened, bull-headed child. Though she only thought about how to attract man’s attention and did not do anything useful before the war, she did surprise me when I read about her doings after the war. At that time, her Tara was just reduced to ashes. Everyone sketched out their hands and asked her for food. She bravely faced the reality and rebuilt Tara with her own hands. What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to leave her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she have said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.

　　This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

　　The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

　　That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

　　Last week, the American Film Institute released its list of the 100 best American films of all time. Not surprisingly, Gone with the Wind placed in the Top 10 (#4, in fact). However, although this epic romantic melodrama is undoubtedly one of the most popular and beloved motion pictures ever to grace the silver screen, it is also arguably the most overrated. Gone with the Wind is a very good movie, perhaps bordering on being great, but its subject matter and running time (which is easily 60 minutes too long) argue against its status as a masterpiece. As for its high placing on the AFI#39;s list... it isn#39;t the only travesty on that roster, but it is one of the most obvious.

　　Gone with the Wind is, sim* put, a tale of two halves. The movie is divided by an intermission into a pair of roughly-equal segments. The first, which is brilliant and consistently captivating, covers the time period of the Civil War, beginning shortly after the election of Abraham Lincoln, and ending during Sherman#39;s march through Atlanta. The post-intermission half, which dishes out the suds, picks up at the end of the Civil War and concludes about eight years later. This portion of Gone with the Wind, while still retaining a degree of appeal and narrative interest, spins its wheels frequently.

　　Nevertheless, viewing Gone with the Wind on television pales in comparison to seeing it projected on a motion picture screen. New Line Cinema has chosen to re-release the film (which is now in its sixth major revival) for its 59th anniversary. (Why not wait a year for the 60th?) Anyone who loves movies but has only seen this one on TV or video is heartily encouraged to visit the nearest participating venue. Theatrically, Gone with the Wind is an entirely different experience from its small-screen counterpart; some of the second-half narrative tedium is effaced by the glorious visuals. With a restored three-strip Technicolor print that preserves all of the original#39;s deep, vibrant colors and digitally-enhanced sound, this picture has never looked or sounded better.

　　Gone with the Wind has one of the best-known storylines of any film, due in large part to the popularity of the source material, Margaret Mitchell#39;s best-selling 1936 book. It#39;s essentially a sumptuous soap opera set around Civil War times in the deep South. The main character is Scarlett O#39;Hara (Vivien Leigh), the spoiled, manipulative daughter of an Irish immigrant plantation owner (Thomas Mitchell, who would later play Uncle Billy in Frank Capra#39;s It#39;s a Wonderful Life). Scarlett has two sisters, but she is by far the most spirited of the three O#39;Hara girls, and her father, seeing her as his successor, teaches her lessons about the importance of the land. "It#39;s the only thing that lasts... the only thing worth fighting for," he comments in the face of war.

　　Scarlett is secretly in love with Ashley Wilkes (Leslie Howard), who is about to marry the gentle, demure Melanie Hamilton (Olivia De Havilland). When Scarlett confesses her love to Ashley, he admits his feelings for her, but notes that Melanie will make a much better wife. Immediately after this meeting, Scarlett has her first encounter with the irrepressible Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), the cynical, smart hero who eventually falls in love with her. 　　The bulk of the film follows a romantic quadrangle as it unfolds against the backdrop of war and reconstruction in and around Atlanta and the O#39;Hara plantation, Tara. Scarlett is in love with Ashley, or thinks she is, but he won#39;t leave his wife. Melanie loves both her husband and Scarlett, who improbably becomes her best friend. Rhett is smitten with Scarlett, and she is clearly interested in him, but the real question is how long it will take for her to recognize the depth of her feelings. Ultimately, when Rhett has finally had enough, he walks out of her life after answering "Frankly, my dear, I don#39;t give a *" to her plaintive query about what she#39;s supposed to do without him.

　　The pre-intermission portion of Gone with the Wind, which runs about 115 minutes, is glorious from both a visual and an emotional standpoint. It#39;s a grand tale of love and loss in the midst of this country#39;s most bitter war. Most importantly, it shows Scarlett#39;s development from a vain, spoiled brat into a hardened, determined young woman. Her relationship with Rhett is there, but kept carefully in the background. There is sadness, humor, and a number of breathtaking shots of Scarlett silhouetted against a reddish sunset or the backdrop of Atlanta in flames. The film#39;s most lingering image -- that of thousands of Confederate wounded paving an Atlanta street -- occurs during this part of the movie.

　　The second half, with its repetitive concentration on Scarlett#39;s back-and-forth, do-I-love-him-or-not relationship with Rhett, is less successful. This stuff is real soap opera material, and, even as well- acted and well-presented as the narrative is, there#39;s no mistaking it for anything else. If it didn#39;t run on for so long, it would be a lot more bearable, but Gone with the Wind threatens to wear out its welcome long before the end title appears. The problem is that the bulk of the story is really told in the first half, so there#39;s a lot of filler in the post-intermission material.

　　Gone with the Wind stands as a romantic monument to the Old South -- an homage to an era and a lifestyle long gone. The opening title states: "There was a land of Cavaliers and Cotton Fields called the Old South. Here in this pretty world, Gallantry took its last bow. Here was the last ever to be seen of Knights and their Ladies Fair, of Master and of Slave. Look for it only in books, for it is no more than a dream remembered, a Civilization gone with the wind." This clearly illustrates where the film#39;s sympathies lies, and it isn#39;t with the often-grim plight of the slaves (in fact, slavery is largely treated as a neutral, or even benevolent, institution).

　　One of the tests of the lasting impact of any film is determining whether it#39;s still effective decades after its initial release. Gone with the Wind looks so good that it is surprising to consider its actual age. It#39;s hard to believe that many of the people involved with this film have long since died. Of course, period pieces should not be constrained by the era in which they#39;re made, only by the one in which they#39;re set. The storyline, while "progressive" and "modern" for the 1930s, is a little tame for the 1990s (hence the MPAA#39;s "G" rating), but, in its three-dimensional depiction of Scarlett and Rhett, it#39;s rarely naive. The dialogue is often brilliant, and some of the Rhett/Scarlett exchanges are particularly clever. Gone with the Wind avoids becoming hopelessly maudlin by peppering the lengthy storyline with a variety of lively and humorous sequences.

　　Probably as much has been written about Scarlett and Rhett as about Casablanca#39;s Rick and Ilsa. Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable were perfectly cast in the leading roles -- she was a relative unknown who was "discovered" almost by accident after an exhaustive casting period; he was an established idol. They fit together perfectly, and, while their chemistry isn#39;t as overwhelming as that of Bogart and Bergman, it#39;s pretty close. As with all couples, their glances and body language say as much or more than their words, and, especially in Scarlett#39;s case, are always more truthful. The characters are fascinating, both on their own and in their interaction with each other. Scarlett is a devious manipulator with a dangerous charm (beware her when she bats her eyelashes); Rhett sees through her at every turn, but, even as smart as he is, he can#39;t help falling for her.

　　There are a number of noteworthy supporting players. The two with the most screen time (aside from Gable and Leigh) are Leslie Howard and Olivia De Havilland. Both portray low-key characters, but do it so well that we develop a deep sympathy for them and their plight. When it comes to the games of the heart engaged in by Scarlett and Rhett, Ashley and Melanie are out of their league. Another standout is Hattie McDaniel, whose brilliant Mammy (the housekeeper at Tara) steals scenes from the more prominent characters. McDaniel brings Mammy to life, and, while she#39;s not three-dimensional, she#39;s real. Mammy is also evidence that Gone with the Wind was capable of transcending (at least in part) the too-easy black stereotypes that were in evidence during the 1930s.

　　When discussing the creative forces behind Gone with the Wind, one rarely hears the name of Victor Fleming (The Wizard of Oz), the credited director. (He was actually one of four men to helm the project.) Instead, Gone with the Wind is referred to as "a David O. Selznick Production," because Selznick was the driving force behind the movie#39;s development. As Producer or Executive Producer, Selznick was instrumental in making over 50 films, including titles like King Kong, A Tale of Two Cities, A Star Is Born, Rebecca, Spellbound, and The Third Man. With four directors, over a dozen uncredited screenwriters, and several cinematographers, Selznick proved to be the creative glue that held Gone with the Wind together. This was his child -- an obsession that consumed him for years.

　　To date, no film has sold more box-office tickets than Gone with the Wind. Domestically, the tally almost doubles that for the phenomenally-popular Titanic. Of course, when the movie was first released, it wasn#39;t just another motion picture -- it was a spectacle, an event. Even though the habits of movie- goers have changed over the years, it#39;s easy to see why this film provoked such an outpouring of praise and adulation during its initial release, and why its stature has grown with the passage of decades. Gone with the Wind has flaws, but it#39;s still undeniably a classic and a legend.

In the story, selfishness of Scarlet, avarice of Butler, goodness of Melanie and recreance of Ashley appeared before our eyes. Devoting all her time to the mill and turning a sizeable profit by any means necessary, she becomes the only successful businesswoman in Atlanta. 　　Scarlett”s development precisely mirrors the development of the American”s south. She changes from spoiled teenage to hard-working widow to wealthy opportunist, reflecting the south”s change from leisure society to besieged nation to compromised survivor. As selfish she is, her bravery and strong mind towards love and war really impress me a lot. When there is barrier, even disasters come, we can feel depressed or afraid, but never give up.

　　这个寒假我开始阅读一些和成长有关的书，比如《小妇人》、《约翰·克里斯朵夫》和《飘》。就人物形象而言，《飘》中的斯嘉丽给我留下了最深刻的印象，这一人物形象是我以往所读过的书籍中所没见过的。

　　这本小说是以美国南北战争为背景写的。斯嘉丽的一生可以说是一部女性的成长史。她从一个天真的富家小姐，历经了战争和生活变故等磨砺，最后蜕变为一个精明自立的人。在这个过程中她炼就了一颗强大的内心，从来不畏流言蜚语，非常清楚自己想要的东西。

　　她并不完美，而且恰恰相反，她身上积聚了很多的缺点，是我以往看的那些书中所经常批判的缺点：自私、精明、强势。但是她仍然让我喜欢，因为，她总是能在绝境中点燃“希望”的火焰，从不花时间去后悔和哀伤，永远向前看，所以，小说的结尾有一句名言——“明天又是另外一天”，就是斯嘉丽这种性格的真实表现。

　　我喜欢这个人物形象还因为她活得很真实。这种真实表现在她很离经叛道，我行我素。她对南方上流社会的那些条条框框极其反感。有一次在舞会上，她刚刚死去了丈夫，是不能跳舞的，但她很想跳，于是她就很尽情地跳了。而且还一针见血地讽刺上流社会淑女们的虚伪：“我最讨厌那些明明跳上两天两夜的舞蹈都不会感觉到疲惫，却偏偏跳一支华尔兹就要晕倒的小姐。”她的真实还表现在她面对急剧变化的生活和命运，从来不幻想和叹息，她紧握土地发誓绝不让自己再挨饿，她真的做到了。在那一刻，我真得被打动了!她改变了原来衣来伸手，饭来张口的生活方式，依靠自己坚强的意志和乐观的精神来化解重重困难和危机。这些带来的感动又化解了我对她自私等所带来的恶感，这个人物形象真是太有张力了!

　　给我印象最深的就是女主角斯佳丽了,我不能说很喜欢这个人物,因为她的有些做法我无法赞同,但我还是很佩服她的冷静,她的与众不同!对于斯佳丽这个人物，我的感觉是矛盾的，是讨厌却又不得不敬佩她。她是个非常有个性的人物，她一生中爱了两个男人，而她却没一个是了解的。如果她了解阿希礼，那她就不会爱他;如果她了解瑞特，那她就不会失去他。她一直以来是辜负瑞特的，她只是不停追寻着自己梦中的王子——阿希礼。她只是把自己爱的特点认为是阿希礼，她只是做了一件华丽的衣服，让阿希礼穿上，而后爱上他。而事实是，她爱的只是那件衣服。

　　她为了她的追求不断努力,作出了许多在那个时代所不能让人理解的事情!

　　对于她，我是不得不佩服的，佩服她的坚强，佩服她对土地的执着，佩服她能在那中环境下放下以前所受的教育下田干活，佩服她能不顾社会上的言论而开创自己的事业。她生命有几个灵魂，一个是她的母亲。她的母亲是一位非常能干、温柔的典型贵夫人，是她最敬佩的人。可是，母亲为了救人而被传染伤寒，去世了。另一个，是她十几年来最爱的人——阿希礼。她能在逆境中站起来，有很大一部分原因就是阿希礼。她对阿希礼是异常执着的。还有一个，就是玫兰妮。在一起奋斗的十几年里，玫兰妮已经成为她生命中不可缺少的一部分了。

　　夜，美得让人忘记时间，星，闪得让人忘记钻石的存在。我伴着这无人问津的夜，将《飘》记在这美丽的夜里。

　　放假前语文课上老师的一句话：“《飘》是以美国南北战争为背景的爱情小说的经典之作，主人公斯嘉，美丽，自私，勇敢，执著，坚强，不受约束的真实个性，很是值得大家认真一读。”勾起了我对这本书的阅读欲望。两天的时间，我仅用两天的时间将它从头至尾仔细的看了一遍，不说废寝忘食，至少也叫得上是如痴如醉。我被主人公斯嘉的美丽、勇敢、不管不顾、自由、执着吸引；我对斯佳面对困难所表现出来的大无畏精神佩服；对她有时为达目的而不择手段而愤恨；对她对白瑞特的爱和默默付出感而不觉而惋惜；对白瑞特最后的离开表示遗憾……

　　我承认斯嘉很自私，她可以为了泄愤勾引了已有未婚妻的查理，哪怕她对他无一点爱意，只是为了自己的任性而已。为了获得拯救塔拉的税金，她宁愿去找他深恶痛绝的瑞德，并以嫁给他为代价，知道得不到好处后，他又用欺骗的手段抢了自己妹妹的男朋友弗兰克，而不顾妹妹的痛苦和羞辱，这只是为了钱。

　　但是我们从斯佳身上看到更多的却是刚强，永不服输，无论是面对战争、母亲和父亲的去世、还是女儿的夭折，她都是最刚毅、最坚韧的一个。就是在小说的末尾，虽然生活给了她一个沉重的记忆，但她却依然努力活着，为着希望，勇敢面对未来。

　　斯嘉身上另一个让人难忘的的就是她的执着。对艾希礼的爱情就是最好的证明她从来没有放弃过对他的爱

　　然而也正因为这种坚持让斯嘉失去了那本应属于她的爱，白瑞德一直深爱着她但她却一直陷在艾希礼的爱情中不能自拔，当斯嘉认清她一直以来所追求的'仅仅是虚幻是光环时，她却失去了瑞德的爱！这就是小说中可悲的斯嘉，她无法把握、珍惜眼前的幸福，她用一生的精力和情感去追求一个光环，最后留下的是永远的痛苦永远的悔恨，一切都随风飘逝。现实生活中又何尝没有像斯嘉这种情形呢？我们身边已经拥有的幸福友情、亲情我们是否用心去体会了？不然的话我们是否也会像思嘉那样留下永远的遗憾？

　　当然这本书让我印象最为深刻的还是再熟悉不过的那句话：“明天又是新的一天。”我们要时刻饱含对未来的希望，哪怕面前有再大的困难，也不能因为一时的失败便认定了终生的失败，人只有像思嘉那样坚强、勇敢、自强不息、充满希望才能创造一片崭新的天地。

　　终于利用假期赶在今天把这本大部头读完了，接下来可能就没有大段时间读书了，过完年了，一切都正常了，忙碌的一年又开始了，真好。

　　读这本书还是颇有些费神的，随着故事的进展心情也跟着跌宕起伏，喜悦，开心，佩服，理解，揪心，愤怒，反思。各种情绪下，也留下了不少彼时彼刻的一些感悟。

　　对于少年时期的斯佳丽，她漂亮、活泼充满了活力，虽然未免有些轻浮和浮夸，虽然也感叹过她读书太少、缺少内涵，但毕竟少不更事，还是可以理解的。

　　自从她赌气嫁给自己并不爱的查尔斯起，开始发现她行事的鲁莽，再后来到了亚特兰大，虽然反叛不守规矩，但倒也不让人生厌。

　　最最喜欢和佩服的是战争中她所表现出来的勇敢、坚韧、责任感以及强大的执行力，整本书中，只有在这里看到了她的成长、蜕变，和担当。

　　再次回亚特兰大，岀于对于饥饿的恐惧，对塔拉和亲人的拯救，她开“丧心病狂”地成为金钱的奴隶，在这个过程中不断地丢掉了很多珍贵的东西。在这一段中，很多时候让人气愤，她的优点很明显，同样，缺点更是“招摇过市”。个人认为，斯佳丽最大的问题在于她不善于思考和反思，不能及时修正自己，没有在这么的坎坷中真正成熟起来，所以，到最后她也失去了很多。即使她再次回到塔拉汲取力量，如果还是不能很好地思考，不能真正的成熟，性格决定命运，将来的一切也还真难说。

　　瑞特和兰妮，我喜欢的另外两个人物。瑞特，不管在什么时代，他都能掌握时局，在社会上混得风声水起，只要他愿意。但是，爱上斯佳丽，不知是他的幸还是不幸，长久的消耗和伤害后，无所不能的船长累了，他爱不动了！只希望他离开后，可以真正找回心灵的宁静和快乐。

　　外柔内刚的兰妮，最容易被忽视的柔弱女子，却一直象是某种精神的存在，她给很多人带来了温暖、快乐和信心，她的离去，总感觉过去的时代真的是曲终人散了。

　　最后，虽然排版总岀现“院“、“野”的一些错误，但是翻译的文笔还是不错，读来非常有趣。

　　《飘》，又名《乱世佳人》，是我最喜欢的一部小说，从初中起就开始阅读，读过好多遍了。我喜欢主人公斯嘉丽的性格，坚强、不屈，虽有一点小坏、一点贪心，但当家人与生活需要她庇护时，她从没懦弱过，总是那么生机勃勃、充满斗志的去迎接每一次挑战与困境。

　　阿西礼，不懂他烦恼不能振作的点！也没能清晰认识这个人物角色，说他还停留在旧社会，但他说即便南方战胜了，他一样要**黑奴。说他懦弱，但却没那怕死，参军被抓不妥协，加入*，惩戒罪犯！他懦弱的点在什么地方没想明白

　　瑞特比较喜欢这个人物，敢爱敢恨，敢做敢当,刚毅果断！挑战世俗中的虚伪，欢迎所有的真实，keep real。

　　飘对我的触动太大了，主要是性格上的，虽然我不知道自己能不能更正自己的一些毛病，但是我觉得自己还是有一些收获的。

　　瑞德是一个谜一般的人物，书中没有正面提高过他的年龄，我以为他只是一个比思嘉大几岁的年轻人而已，但是我想不明白的是为什么他对世事的认识那么清楚，每次都跑不出他的预料，还有他的性格一点都不虚伪，对一些人看上去非常的刻薄，但是他对真诚的人完全是两个样子的。他知道自己的想法，也不羞于表现自己的小人，虽然其很不小人，那些行动只是语言上的而已。当然了，最令我欣赏的是虽然他看透了一切，但是他没有丧失热情，没有像一个苦行僧一样，如死水一般，无爱无恨，他还是对生活充满了热情，看看他为思嘉做的那些事，看看他去为失败的南方服的兵役。

　　其实思嘉才是对我触动最大的，毕竟我感觉瑞德虽然厉害，但对我这个凡夫俗子来说太遥远了一点，我没有他那么高的的境界，思嘉才是给我触动最大的，看看她遇到问题时的解决办法，具体就不写了，如果有兴趣可以自己去翻书，令我自己太汗颜了，自己太害羞了，太缺乏勇气了，什么都缩手缩脚的，想用她激励自己，想要什么就要去争取、去做才可以。

　　《飘》的主人公Scarlette(斯佳丽)是一个性格复杂的人物——她给人的印象很好：勤劳、直率、有责任感；而她的风一般的善变性格，正如本书题目“随风而行”一样。她之所以有3次坎坷的婚姻，只因她复杂多变的性格。因而，在我读到这部小说的时候，我不仅没有因所谓斯佳丽的“叛逆精神，自强不息”所感动，反而为她漂泊不定的生活，失去所有而仍不知真爱在何方的性格悲剧感到遗憾。毕竟，书的结尾这样写道：

　　她具有她的家族那种不承认失败的精神，即使失败就摆在眼前。如今就凭这种精神，她把下巴高高翘起。她能够让瑞德回来。她知道她能够。世界上没有哪个男人她无法得到，只要她下定决心就是了。毕竟，明天又是新的一天。

　　“明天又是新的一天”，作者的这句话给了一代又一代人精神的洗礼，给人以自强不息的精神。而在我看来，“没有哪个男人无法得”并不能表明她的成功，反而是揭露了她的不择手段。为了金钱，她可以出卖自己的幸福；而为了自己的幸福，她可以出卖自己妹妹的幸福，出卖他人的幸福，制造出一切她所能制造的假象。可最终，她也不会再获得什么真正的爱情。可是斯佳丽，她认为她控制住了那个男人，她认为她没有失败，仍然期待着明天——不是充满自信，而是茫然的期待。这种自私、虚伪的性格，决定了斯佳丽到了故事的最后都没有一个圆满的归宿。

　　这样说来，斯佳丽在庄园里辛苦劳作和遭受的一切不幸，只是斯佳丽爱情悲剧的陪衬而已；斯佳丽的人物性格必然成为这部伟大的爱情故事的核心。

　　所以，最终，还是这故事自始至终的悲惨引发了人们对主人公的同情和对其性格的深深思考。她的性格多么真实，仿佛这个人就存在于我们身边——

　　初读此书，我总会感慨郝思嘉的命运是有多么不幸以及这个故事的最后结局有多么的悲伤。可是经过反复的阅读后。我才明白我想错了，全书并未以“悲”为主题。而是围绕着“希望”与“奇迹”展开。卫希礼的打仗归来是个奇迹；塔拉没被毁灭是个奇迹；战争的结束也是个奇迹......而郝思嘉面对亲人的死亡，爱人的离去，被战火烧的面目全非的家园她都没气馁，而是擦干泪水，努力振作，对明天满怀希望，一定会创造一个奇迹。文章的结尾是郝思嘉对自己说的一句话，而那一句“明天又是另外一天了”就像是说给所有人听的。我不禁也细细品味起这句话来，是呀，明天又将是新一天的开始，今日的烦恼也可随风而逝了......

　　郝思嘉从不为已经过去的事情或已失去的物品而悲伤，她永远是乐观自信的，也永远相信靠自己努力便可使生活更美好，但是在我们的社会中呢？

　　对于那些已经失去的东西，所有人都会倍感惋惜，这是万分正常的。只是假如一直都存活在失去的悲伤中无法自拔，也无法想象该怎么办时，我们似乎就失去了乐观。

　　命运对于霍金来说是万分不公的，只是上帝在为他关上一扇门时，又打开了一扇窗。

　　这是一个漫长的故事，陆陆续续用了半个月的时间才看完它。

　　都说：十年修得柯景腾，百年修得王小贱，千年修得李大仁，万年修得陆励成，亿年修得何以琛。看完这本书，我觉得亿年修得白瑞德也不为过。

　　白瑞德身上其实拥有着吸引女性的全部优点：帅气多金、懂女人、聪明不安分、慷慨大方、有点小坏还专情……他对思嘉一见钟情，用一颗有力的炽热的心深爱着这个骄纵、任性、坚忍、美丽、自私的姑娘。

　　他的爱高于其他人还在于思嘉的一整颗心全然扑在的是另一个男人（卫希礼）身上。他知道思嘉不爱他，却义无反顾地用他宽厚的臂膀为思嘉遮风挡雨，在思嘉人生最灰暗最艰辛时带她走过泥泞的暴风雪。

　　他教她在这个血雨腥风的社会上如何生存下去，虽然语言尖酸刻薄，但道出的却全是真谛。他将那份爱意掩埋在讥诮不屑的表情与放荡的身影中。

　　最后截取了书里的一句话——爱你的人如果没有按你所希望的方式来爱你，那并不代表他们没有全心全意地爱你。

　　夜渐渐深了，星星偷偷地从云彩后面跳出来，将自己仅有的那一点光芒无私地撒向大地。如果说每一本书都是一颗星，那么在我心中最亮的那一颗星，无疑就是《飘》了。

　　这是一位乱世佳人的传奇人生历程，一部美国内战时期著名的史诗级著作。横看全书，这一部老南方种植园文明的没落史，一代人的成长史和奋斗史；而纵观全书，则是一部令人悲恸的心理剧，用剧的方式向读者展示女主人公在战乱中走向成熟的过程。看《飘》，犹如在原始森林，你越是深入到他的情节中，它向你展示的内容也就越美。

　　对于斯嘉丽这个人，我感到十分矛盾。她一方面将爱情看得十分重，一方面又轻视爱情。她爱过两个男人，但是这两个人，她却一个都没有看透。她如果看透了艾希礼，看透了他的懦弱，斯嘉丽就不会选择爱上他。以斯嘉丽那勇敢坚强，敢于向生活发起挑战的个性，是绝对不会爱上一个向时代低头，沉浸在对旧生活回忆中的人的。如果她看透了瑞德，就会明白瑞德对她一直是死心塌地，就不会辜负瑞德，也就不会失去瑞德了。

　　但是与这相反，在亚特兰大，斯嘉丽却因为三百美元而出卖了自己的爱情，嫁给了弗兰克，将前后二者相对比，我不经感慨到：人是多么善变啊！一会儿为了爱情至死不改，一会儿为了得到三百美元而出卖自己的爱。
