一、名词:名词单复数,名词的格
(一)名词单复数
1.一般情况,直接加-s,如:book-books, bag-bags, cat-cats, bed-beds
2.以s. x. sh. ch结尾,加-es,如:bus-buses, box-boxes,brush-brushes, watch-watches
3.以“辅音字母+y”结尾,变y为i, 再加-es,如:family-families,strawberry-strawberries
4.以“f或fe”结尾,变f或fe为v, 再加-es,如:knife-knives
5.不规则名词复数:
man-men, woman-women, policeman-policemen, policewoman-policewomen, mouse-mice child-children, foot-feet, tooth-teeth, fish-fish,people-people, Chinese-Chinese, Japanese-Japanese
不可数名词的复数就是原型: paper, juice, water, milk, rice, tea
(二)名词的格
(1) 有生命的东西的名词所有格:
a)单数后加 ’s 如: Lucy’s ruler my father’s shirt
b)以s 结尾的复数名词后加 ’如: his friends’ bags
c)不以s 结尾的复数后加 ’s children’s shoes
l 并列名词中,如果把 ’s加在最后一个名词后,表示共有, 如:
Tom and Mike’scar 汤姆和迈克共有的小汽车
l 要表示所有物不是共有的,应分别在并列名词后加’s
Tom’s and Mike’s cars 汤姆和麦克各自的小汽车
(2)表示无生命东西的名词通常用“ of +名词”来表示所有关系:如:

2.give sth. to sb./ give sb. sth. 意为“把……给……”,动词give之后可接双宾语,可用这两种句型;若指物的宾语是人称代词时,则只能用give it/ them to sb. 如:His parents give him a nice purse./His parents give a nice purse to him. Give it to Mr Hu.(L57)
3.take sb./ sth. to…意为“把……(送)带到……”,后常接地点,也可接人。如:Please take the new books to theclassroom.
4.One…, the other…/One is…and one is…意为“一个是……;另一个是……”,必须是两者中。如:One is red and one is grey.(L50)或 One is red,, the other is grey.
5.Let sb. do sth. 意为“让某人做某事”,人后应用不带to的动词不定式,其否定式为Don’t let sb,do sth.,或Let sb. not do sth. 另外,Let’s 与Let us的含义不完全相同, 前者包括听者在内,后者不包括听者在内,如:Let’s go for a walk./Let us try once more, please.
6.help sb. (to) do sth./help sb. with sth.意为“帮助某人做某事”,前者用不定式作宾补,后者用介词短语作宾补,二者可以互换。如:Let me help you find it.(L42)/Let me help you with it.
7.What about…?/How about…?意为“……怎么样?”是用来询问或征求对方的'观点、意见、看法等。about为介词,其后须接名词、代词或V-ing等形式。如:What/How playing chess?
8.It’s time to do…/ It’s time for sth. 意为“该做……的时间了”,其中to后须接原形动词,for后可接名词或V-ing形式。如:It’s time to have supper. =It’s time for supper.
9.like to do sth./like doing sth.意为“喜欢做某事”,如:Li Lei and his friends like to play in the tree house. (L 43)前一种句型侧重具体的一次性的动作;后一种句型侧重*惯性的动作,试比较:Tom likes swimming, but doesn’t like to swim this afternoon.
10.ask sb.(not) to do sth. 意为“让某人(不要)做某事”,其中ask sb.后应接动词不定式,如:Ask your friends to guess what is in it. (L44)
11.show sb. sth. / show sth. to do. 意为“把某物给某人看”,该句型的用法同前面第2点。如:Show your friend your family photo.(L36)/Show your family photo to your friend.

1.由that引导,由于that没有任何意义,也不充当任何句子成分。因此that在非正式文体中可以省略。这类宾语从句通常表达一种陈述意义。
e.g.He told me (that) he would go to Wuhan.

She told me (that) she was a student.
(1)如果由and连接两个并列的宾语从句时,第二个that则不能省略。
e.g.She said she liked English very much and that she didn’t like math at all.
(2)常接that引导的宾语从句的谓语动词有:believe, expect, explain, feel, hear, hope, imagine, prefer, promise, report, say, see, tell, think, understand, warn, wish等。

在这类宾语从句中要注意两点:
(1)if引导宾语从句和状语从句的区别
if引导宾语从句时意为“是否”,从句中该用什么时态就应用什么时态。
if引导条件状语从句时意为“假如”,从句中应用一般现在时代替一般将来时。
e.g.She wanted to know if you were a teacher.
I don’t know if the letter is yours.
They’ll go boating if it is fine tomorrow.

(2)if引导宾语从句时多数情况下可以与whether互换,但如果要突出“究竟是……还是不……”这层意思时,通常用whether,并在后面的加上“or not”,即一般要选择whether构成whether…or not的结构。

1)单数—复数型。凡是有复数词尾变化形式的集合名词都属于此类。如:a class—classes; a family—families; a government—governments; an army—armies; a people—peoples; a group—groups; a crowd—crowds; a crew—crews等。这类集合名词强调的是整体性,即当作一个整体或多个整体来看待。属于这类集合名词的单数作主语时,谓语动词用单数;复数形式作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
【例如】
A big crowd often gathers on the square every morning.
The government has decided to pass the bill.
There are huge crowds in the streets on Sunday.
There are many English-speaking peoples in the world.
但应注意,这类集合名词的单数形式有时表示复数概念,所以这些集合名词的单数形式也可归为“单复同形型”中。
2)单数型。这类集合名词表示的是人或事物的整体,即把这类人或事物的全部包括在内,所以只有单数形式。如作主语,谓语动词常用单数。这类名词常见的有:humanity, mankind, proletariat等。

4)单复同形型。这类集合名词的`单数形式既可表示单数也可表示复数。作主语时,用单数动词或复数动词均可,有时意义区别不大。

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my fathers friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who dont live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.
